Three years ago today, on November 23, 2012, (Black Friday that year) a 45-year-old white man named Michael Dunn got into an argument with a group of teenagers over the volume of their hip-hop music at a Southside gas station in Jacksonville.
The altercation would turn violent. Dunn fired ten shots into the teens’ Dodge Durango, then fled the scene. Ten bullets total, and one of them struck and killed 17-year-old Jordan Davis.
